Google Ads run from an account that stays in your name
We build and run search campaigns for companies working with us remotely. Two ways to pay: you settle with Google directly and we charge a flat fee from 500 € per month excluding VAT, or we take the whole thing on for 600 € per month excluding VAT with up to 300 € of that going to ad spend. Paid search does not pay for everyone, and you will hear that from us before you are invoiced.

The real question
Would those clicks have come without paying?
Knowing that Google Ads brings clicks tells you nothing. The number that decides everything is how many of them you would not have had anyway. Three pieces of research get close to that number and they disagree with each other. Google analyzed more than 400 paused accounts in 2011 and reported that 89% of paid clicks were not recovered by organic listings. A second Google study, in 2012, put the share nearer half once the site already held the top organic spot. Then a randomized experiment at eBay, published in Econometrica in 2015 by Blake, Nosko and Tadelis, found no measurable short-term return on brand keywords at all. Two of the three came from Google and all three are old, so read them as a direction of travel and nothing firmer: paid search pays where you are invisible, and leaks where you already rank.
Two arrangements
You pay Google, or we do
On Google’s screen the result is identical. What changes is how many lines you have to follow each month, and how visible the ad spend is.
You pay Google, we charge a fee
The card on file is yours. Ad spend leaves your own account and our flat fee sits beside it, from 500 € per month excluding VAT. Two lines to follow, and never a question about where the money went.
One number every month
600 € per month excluding VAT, of which up to 300 € goes to ad spend. The media share is written into the contract, so it is never folded into one figure nobody can take apart. You can move between the two arrangements from one month to the next.
Whichever you choose
Six things that do not change
These are the questions worth asking any agency before you sign. They decide what you can see while the work runs, and what you keep the day it stops.
- The Google Ads account opens in your company name, under both arrangements, and you hold the login
- The account history stays with you if you leave, which matters because automated bidding runs on it
- The media share appears as a figure you can check, never as a line hidden inside a bundled price
- You can read the raw spend inside your own account whenever you want, without asking us for a screenshot
- Our fee does not move with your budget, so talking you into spending more earns us nothing
- You can switch from one arrangement to the other from one month to the next, at no cost
Every month
What the report actually contains
A report exists to help you decide. This one runs to two pages and always ends in a decision, including the months where the decision is to stop something we argued for.
- What was actually spent, per campaign and per network, against what we planned
- The search terms that triggered your ads, and the ones we excluded this month
- The angles we tested: which ones won, which ones lost, and what we are dropping
- Cost per lead and per sale, next to last month and next to last year once there is history
- What the platform did not show us, and what we take from that
- One decision per campaign for the month ahead: keep it, adjust it, or cut it
Blind spots
What the platform does not show us
Everything below is documented by Google itself. We put it in writing because an agency that bills for control it does not have gets found out eventually, usually by the client.
- In Performance Max, the split of your budget across networks cannot be steered by anyone. Google says so in its own documentation: “you can’t directly control budget allocation per channel”
- The per-network performance report exists, but its history does not reach back before 6 June 2025
- The Performance Max placement report carries impressions only, with no cost and no conversions, and Google states plainly that it should not be used to judge performance
- A share of your search terms is withheld for privacy reasons, and no threshold for that withholding is published
- Negative keywords in Performance Max cover the Search and Shopping inventory only. Not Display, not YouTube
None of this is a scandal. Google’s automation produces very good results on some accounts, and we run it where it earns its place. The problem starts when an agency sells you steering it never had. We would rather tell you where ours stops.
Price
Two ways to pay, three months minimum either way
Flat fee from 500 € per month excluding VAT when you settle with Google yourself. 600 € per month excluding VAT when we take it all on, up to 300 € of that going to ad spend. Three months minimum in both cases, because one month of data settles nothing and you would be paying us to guess. We quote and invoice in euros; what that costs in your currency depends on the rate that day. The scoping call is free, and it sometimes ends with us telling you to wait.
Honestly
When we will tell you not to run ads at all
Three situations, and we meet all three. The first is margin. If a sale leaves you a few dollars and a click in your market costs more than that, the campaign only works if those customers come back and buy again, and plenty of businesses have no repeat purchase to count on. The second is the page. Sending bought traffic to something that loads in six seconds on a phone, or that answers a different question from the one people typed, is paying full price for a bounce; fix the page first and the same budget goes further later. The third is demand. Some products solve a problem nobody has typed into a search box yet, and search advertising meets demand rather than creating it, so if the queries do not exist there is nothing on the auction for you to buy. We check all three during the scoping call. It is free, and we would rather lose the retainer than invoice you for a channel that cannot work.
